Regional Rail Link (RRL) have advised in their latest update to residents that the new footbridge across to the Gardens from King Edward Ave will be built during the current around-the-clock period of work during the school holidays.
They also advise that preparation works will commence for the replacement HV McKay footbridge across the rail lines and Harvester Road. Access via the existing bridge will remain open during this preparatory phase.
