The McKay Gardens Community Festival, generously supported by Brimbank Council is in its 11th year and is a highlight on many young families’ calendars in the area. This year’s Community Festival will be held on Sunday 1st March from 12pm-5pm.
There is a Kids Corner with free face painting and Simsalabim the roving Wizard, a fitness corner featuring local sporting clubs, games and prizes for the kids!
Be there at 12 to join in for the Singalong for the Kids and receive a free gift! Following the singalong, there is a series of multicultural performances that everyone can sing and dance to! Hot food, coffee, cold beverages and ice cream also avaialble to purchase.
To learn about these beautiful gardens, there is also a self guided Oak walk and photographic history of the Sunshine Harvester Works and the Gardens built by H V McKay for his workers
